Good morning Beverly. So far so Excellent wearing the beautiful clothing Janis and I discovered in your shop last Thursday. I look forward to trying out every single piece and have already divested my closet of a number of others to make way for them. This is a long-sought makeover for me, and your good taste and implacable knowledge of your inventory made it possible. You truly are an exceptional retailer. I am delighted to have found you.

I’ve already thought of items I would like to add to my stash and wonder if you would keep an eye out for me. I like vests. I would readily have a couple: one that blends well with the business attire look and one that is more fun/funky. Also, the few times I wear skirts or dresses—I know I said I don’t when you asked and it’s essentially true except for the rare circumstances when I find one I like—they are invariably straight cuts.

I’m open to considering any such items you would suggest—email and photos might be a good place to start?

Other info you may find useful: I like the basic black and white theme you favor—indeed my theme over the past several years has been black and red (I have clients who’ve actually made bets about whether I’d show up in a different combination and complained to me when they lost. It’s true.). So red items are always appealing. Bright clear yellows too. Bright clear colors generally. And generally not mixed—that lovely Joseph Ribikoff multi colored jacket is an exception for me yet it’s the first item I chose to wear, so I am open to exceptions. What a buy that jacket was BTW!! Looks great, goes with everything, suits jeans as well as dress pants, wrinkle free, comfortable and giving with movement, can’t say enough about it. Or about the Planet shirt you paired with it. But I digress.

I will still visit your shop in the fall for some winter items when I come to visit family. So please keep me in mind as look at that sort of stock in the coming months. And if you find pieces you think are “me” in the meantime, let’s talk.
